Zero01Where art, technology and digital culture meet.

The upcoming ZER01 Biennial presents
Chico MacMurtrie’s Inflatable Architectural Growth.
Proudly sponsored by the SF Fine Art Fair.

About the Entrance
This is destined to be one of the most memorable art fair entrances of all time. You will have a mesmerizing interactive experience with 2 giant 16 ft amorphic robot structures which inflate into complex geometrical architecture right in front of your eyes.

In this attention-getting robotic choreography, these inflatable sculptures will talk to you by generating a wide range of profound sounds- as they attempt to connect with you, their new art fair visitor friend. Hear their pulse, breathing and heartbeat. You’ll become part of this unique and overwhelming visual and acoustical “performance art” experience as you walk under and around these 16 ft sculptures while entering the San Francisco Fine Art Fair. What you see and hear will amaze you.

It’s all created, conceived, built and installed by innovative Brooklyn artist Chico MacMurtrie. Come witness his amazing “ Amorphic Robot Work”. His impressive past installations includes a floating tree, totemobile , inflatable birds, a totem pole forest and large mechanical murals.

About the 01SJ Biennial
Sept 16-19, 2010 throughout downtown San Jose and satellite locations in including parallel programming in San Francisco.

“The best way to predict the future is to invent it.” Alan Kay, software guru

The third 01SJ Biennial, entitled, “Build Your Own World" where the future is not just about what's next it's about what we can build to ensure that what's next matters. How can we, as resourceful, innovative, and knowledgeable local and global citizens build and participate in a desirable future in the face of global climate change, economic meltdown, political instability, and cultural divisiveness?

01SJ is about how powerful ideas and innovative individuals from around the world can make a difference and come together to build a unique and distributed city-wide platform for creative solutions and public engagement.
