Why Exhibit

San Francisco Fine Art Fair 2010 — The Return To SF

San Francisco has a long tradition hosting fine art fairs that have been highly successful for exhibitors and collectors. For the past seven years, the city by the bay has been without a major, internationally-ranked, fine art fair. Avid collectors, art enthusiasts, galleries and the art press eagerly await the long overdue arrival of the San Francisco Fine Art Fair (SFFAF 2010) which will take place May 20-23, 2010.

San Francisco’s Ideal Location

Fort Mason Center—the hub of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area—is a thriving cultural center where the arts-oriented local public regularly attends events. The popular Fort Mason site—which offers stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge—was the site for the 2002 art fair and features year round arts-related events including antiques and 20th-century design shows. America’s most visited urban national park is conveniently located at the edge of San Francisco Bay and just a short, breath-taking walk from  Fisherman’s Wharf.

Just the Right Size

The SFFAF 2010 is to be held in the center’s largest building, the Festival Pavilion, which, at 50,000 square feet, is ideally sized for 100 gallery booths. While large enough to rank as a major international art fair with 60+ expected galleries, the Pavilion also lends itself to a cozy “boutique” setting which provides fairgoers a manageable and cogent viewing and buying experience. SFFAF 2010 will ignite creative sparks as attendees meander through world-class galleries networking with dealers, artists, curators and interior designers.

The Place to See and Be Seen

SFFAF 2010 will be filled with renowned art acquirers and art admirers in a festival like setting at Fort Mason. SFFAF 2010 is shaping up as the highlight of the art world in the Bay area and beyond and will be on the 2010 social calendars of both the bay area collectors as well as west coast diehard collectors, art supporters, curators and interior designers.

Why a Fine Art Fair in San Francisco?

Due to a long 7 year hiatus, it’s time to benefit from the  huge pent-up interest among Bay Area art enthusiasts to attend and buy at  a first-rate art fair.

We have  the full support and endorsement  of the key SF city government agencies, such as the SF Arts Commission, Visitors and Convention Bureau, Chamber of Commerce and the San Francisco Municiplal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) in  our efforts to ensure a successful event.

From the People that Brought you ArtHamptons

After two successful years in the Hamptons, we are taking our art-centric “magic” to the west coast. ArtHamptons 2009 featured 68 galleries, 5,000 visitors and millions in art sales. As the highlight of the Hamptons’ social season, the event was overflowing with the New York City area elite, major art buyers, the art press and celebrities. In short, ArtHamptons has become the “mini-Art Basel in the Hamptons.” We have generated rich and knowledgeable art buyers, impressive support from museum patrons and unprecedented media support in a tony location in Bridgehampton, New York.
